June was a busy month at P4B with several new members joining the network. Many joined as a result of their involvement in the NanoMaterials conference which was held in Lomdon (UK) on the 9th-10th June and the BioDundee event which was held in the Apex Hotel Dundee (UK) on the 18th June. Both events were successful and generated many new contacts for the businesses that took part.
To all our new members I would like to welcome you to the network and hope that you will find P4B a useful and enjoyable source of 'contacts' for your future business activities. To our existing members, please take a few minutes to read the 'New Member Update' section below which lists our new members and their nature of business. Don't forget to log in to the P4B website so you can see the names and read the full collaboration details of the businesses that have registered.
Company logo's and photo's can be added to a member's profile - Those members who have been eagle eyed when they visit the P4B main website, will have noticed that some members are now showing off their company logos and personal photograph on their business profile. If you have yet to add yours please go to the P4B Member area and sign in. Then follow the links to update your profile. The option to add your photo and logo can be found in Part 2 of the new 4 part registration form. Changes to the P4B 'Partner' level of membership - P4B has also started to upgrade several members to being P4B 'Partners'. Each new Partner is a supplier of a specialist product or service and are keen to help other P4B members. Each Partner can offer a couple of hour's free consultation to see how they may be able to help you and your business. If you would like to upgrade to be a P4B Partner send me an e-mail again to phil.eadon@partners4business.co.uk If you would like to make contact with a P4B Partner in your area please let me know and what area of expertise you need. I'll then have a look on the database and put you in touch. There is no fee for this service although we will get some commission / intro fee from the P4B Partner should the connection lead to them doing some paid business.

Future Events
P4B are pleased to be able to highlight that our next event is as follows...
26th July - ENTO'10, Swansea, UK - P4B is delighted to be supporting the organisation of an academic / industry collaboration forum as part of this years Royal Entomological Society's annual science meeting and conference - ENTO'10. All P4B Members, Associates and Partners are invited to attend. This meeting will concentrate on the study of insects which represents an almost limitless and untapped opportunity to develop superior technologies or novel products impacting on a huge range of industries - from drug discovery to food, from agroforestry to tourism. The event will include a CONNECT 1-2-1 delegate networking / partnering session which will offer delegates the option to pre select a number of 1-2-1 x 15 minute appointments with the other participating delegates. The event will encourage better interaction between academics and industrialists. The cost for a 1 day pass (Monday 26th) is only £30 for P4B members.
