May has been a funny month, what with the problems caused by the ash cloud coming out of the Icelandic volcano and the BA strike threats.
Despite that P4B has been busy supporting two major events, Partners 4 Life Science 2010 which was held in the Institute of Life Science at Swansea University and CONNECT 1-2-1 at All-Energy 2010, which was held in the AECC in Aberdeen. Both were great successes and many new connections were made between the event delegates.
As a result P4B has welcomed a number of new members to the growing P4B network. Membership now stands at 1069 with more companies and organisations signing up each day. I recommend you have a look at the list of new members who are all keen to make new contacts - locally, nationally and internationally. Next month (June) P4B will be at NanoMaterials 2010, which is being held on the 9th and 10th June at the
Russell
Hotel in London and at BioDundee 2010, which is being held on the 18th June in the APEX Hotel and Spa in
Dundee.

For the BioDundee conference we are supporting the 1-2-1 brokerage meetings between the conference delegates. I am pleased to say that due to the support of Enterprise Europe Network Scotland and Scottish Enterprise it costs nothing for P4B members to take part in the 1-2-1 'partnering' meetings which will be held on the Friday 18th.
