March was a busy month with P4B involved in several event projects and marketing activities. P4B membership now stands at 1031 companies and organisations from 43 different countries. Click here to see a list of the 10 latest businesses to join the P4B network.
We have also developed a new member interest group for those involved in the Personal Care sector. This move followed a successful event in Leeds (UK) with the team at Yorkshire Chemical Focus. If you are involved in this growing sector, please make sure you have ticked the box in your P4B profile to be listed in the Partners4PersonalCare group.
We were also pleased to work with the British Marine Federation and East Midlands Transport iNet to support an event they organised in Loughborough (UK) on the 2nd March. The event - Partners4Technology in Transport - was a great success and brought together a good number of companies involved in the various sectors of the transport industry - marine, automotive, rail and aerospace.
On the 17-18 March we were also delighted to be supporting the annual Bio Wales conference. The event was held just outside Cardiff (UK) and brought together a wide range of biotech related companies from not only across Wales but also from many parts of the UK and indeed the USA, Canada, Italy and Switzerland. Nearly 800 separate meeting requests were logged by the various delegates on the CONNECT 1-2-1 at Events website system www.biowales121.co.uk So I recommend making a date in your diary for next year's Bio Wales event. It's a great event and growing each year. Plus it only cost £50 this year which is very reasonable.

12th May - Looking ahead, we are working with the team at the Institute of Life Science at Swansea University to organise a 1 day event called Partners4LifeScience. The purpose of the event is to provide structured networking opportunities to bring together industry, academics and the NHS to encourage and stimulate greater collaboration. 16-18 May - Shortly after we are involved in supporting the All-Energy UK Exhibition & Conference in Aberdeen. This is Europe's largest event devoted to all forms of clean and renewable energy. All-Energy is highly relevant to companies actively involved in all areas of the renewable energy industry - wind (onshore and offshore), wave, tidal, hydro, hydrogen and fuel cells, solar and biofuels. Companies attending the event come from both sides of the "buying/selling fence".
